Hurting Officer (傷官, Shāng Guān) is the most electric, most misunderstood, and arguably most intellectually powerful of all the forces. The name tells you something important: this energy "hurts" the Officer (正官, Direct Officer), the force representing structure, authority, and conventional success. People with dominant Hurting Officer don't just question authority; they find its weak points instinctively and cannot help pointing them out. This makes them uncomfortable in institutions and invaluable in any context where innovation requires disrupting what already exists. They are the ones who see what everyone else is too invested to question, and they say it out loud, sometimes with more precision than tact.
